Are you curious, ambitious and working at full speed to lead a successful business?
Are you investing in building software?
Do you want to have a positive impact on the world?
Whether you’re starting out, growing, or scaling up, running a business will throw many challenges at you.
You may have questions or concerns about your product engagement, your business model and profitability, operations, strategy, technology spend, team culture, leadership and beyond. That’s normal. It’s all part and parcel of the journey of being a successful business leader.
So, where do you go from here? How do you find your way? This is where The Art of Navigation comes in.
The Art of Navigation will help you to steer yourself through the challenges using one-to-one sessions, a customised set of tools and a systematic approach. I act as your creative partner, asking the questions that will navigate you towards a more constructive mindset for both you and your business.
I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all structure – I’ll get to know you, take time to understand your goals and, most importantly, will ensure we find a way that works best for us both.
It's your expedition, I'm just here to help guide it.
My name is Matt Mower and I’m the Navigator for software businesses.
In my pre-navigation days, I was a developer, team leader, and CTO for startups from the UK, Europe, and the US. Building a lot of software taught me that the big problem faced by the leaders of these businesses is, typically, not related to technology.
Subsequently, I established myself as a virtual CTO. I re-qualified in psychology, became a cognitive behavioural coach, worked as a growth coach for SME’s, and mentored startup CEOs.
From these experiences, I developed the concept of Navigation. Navigation blends many beautiful mistakes and hard-won learnings with practical, useful, tools and processes. The resulting system, named COMPASS, helps software companies find their focus and reach their potential.
