I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all structure – I’ll get to know you, take time to understand your goals and, most importantly, will ensure we find a way that works best for us both.

You’re the Captain.
I’m the Navigator.

My name is Matt Mower and I’m the Navigator for software businesses.

In my pre-navigation days, I was a developer, team leader, and CTO for startups from the UK, Europe, and the US. Building a lot of software taught me that the big problem faced by the leaders of these businesses is, typically, not related to technology.

Subsequently, I established myself as a virtual CTO. I re-qualified in psychology, became a cognitive behavioural coach, worked as a growth coach for SME’s, and mentored startup CEOs.

From these experiences, I developed the concept of Navigation. Navigation blends many beautiful mistakes and hard-won learnings with practical, useful, tools and processes. The resulting system, named COMPASS, helps software companies find their focus and reach their potential.
